Report: Man pointed firearm at another man’s head

A 36-year old Adairsville man was arrested Wednesday on an aggravated assault charge in connection with an incident that occurred on Hicks Drive back on June 26.

According to the arrest warrant, Nathaniel Dennis Bailey of a Twin Bridges Road address pointed a firearm at the head of the victim.

The incident occurred as a Ford Mustang was being repossessed.

The warrant states that the victim did not do anything to provoke Bailey.

Highway 27 North near Dugger Drive is open again after being shut down in both directions for a couple of hours Saturday.
