Woman charged with burglary, theft

A 25-year old Rome woman was jailed Thursday on charges of 1st-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft by taking.

According to Floyd County Jail records and an arrest warrant, Leslie Diane Rose of a Calhoun Road address entered another person’s residence and took $660 in cash.

The incident occurred on Wednesday of last week, according to the warrant.
 

A man is accused of shooting in the direction of a residence and another man is accused of having a stolen firearm.
