Chance for severe weather returns Thursday and Friday

The National Weather Service is tracking a storm system expected to make its way into Georgia late Thursday Night and into early Friday morning.

West Georgia has been placed into the slight risk category, while the rest of Georgia is in a marginal risk for severe weather.

The main threats are flash flooding, lightning, strong winds, hail and an isolated tornado.

We will update this as more information becomes available.
