Woman charged with burglary

A 24-year old Rome woman was jailed Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with 1st-degree burglary.

According to the warrant, Elizabeth Anna Hendrix entered a residence on West Drive on April 4 by using a spare key that she had seen the victim use on a previous occasion.

Hendrix reportedly stole a PlayStation 4 Pro valued at $400, a PS4 game valued at $40 and 40 Xanax tablets.

She then sold the PlayStation 4 at a local pawn shop for $125, according to police.

Hendrix, who was arrested at her Edgewood Avenue home, is also charged with theft by taking and theft by deception.

A man is accused of shooting in the direction of a residence and another man is accused of having a stolen firearm.
