Ribbon cutting held for new recycling center

On Saturday, the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center hosted a community open house for the newly completed 2013 SPLOST funded Recycling Center located at 412 Lavender Drive.

Floyd County Public Works Director Michael Skeen and his staff welcomed the group with tours of the new facility after Floyd County Vice Chair Wright Bagby and Rome City Commissioner Sundai Stevenson performed the official ribbon cutting.
