The Exchange Club of Rome’s Family Resource Center is gearing up for a popular annual fundraiser, which is coming up next month.

Tickets are on sale now for the 19th annual Night at the Movies.

“That is a big event for us,” said Tina Bartleson with the Family Resource Center. “It is our second largest fundraiser. It’s February 26. It’s a fun event. Come in and you get a variety of hors-d'oeuvres, all donated by local restaurants. We have some beverages. You can socialize and then you go pick out a movie. They are always some excellent movies.”

Proceeds from A Night at the Movies go to help the Family Resource Center help local families grow stronger through their in-home support and education services.

“We see so many families that are feeling overwhelmed,” Bartleson said. They have so many problems and they just need that sounding board to help compartmentalize and problem-solve. We just try to be friendly support service for parents.”

Tickets for the fundraiser are $55, two for $100 or you can buy a block of ten for $45 each.

You can purchase tickets by going to exchangeclubfrc.org.
