Man charged with burglary

A 41-year old Cave Spring man was arrested Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with 1st-degree burglary.

According to the warrant, Joshua Shane Waddell of a Blacks Bluff Road address entered a camper on Wax Road and committed a theft.

Waddell also allegedly poured paint all over the victim’s belongings.

The incident occurred on June 12, according to the warrant.

 

Cave Spring man arrested for false imprisonment

A 23-year old Cave Spring man is facing a felony count of false imprisonment following his arrest Thursday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Austin Ray Cline was arrested at his residence on Mason Circle.

He is also charged with simple assault, stalking and criminal trespass.

No additional details concerning the arrest were available at the jail Friday morning.

 

Teen charged with felony obstruction of officers

A 19-year old Rome man is facing two felony counts of obstruction of officers.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Dylan Thomas Mohler is also charged with speeding and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

No additional details concerning the arrest were available at the jail Friday morning.
 

 

Woman arrested on warrant for meth possession

A Rome woman turned herself in at the Floyd County Jail Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine.

According to the warrant, Courtney Leigh Nails of a Lake Ridge Circle address had a glass smoking device containing suspected meth on the floor next to her bed.

She also had a plastic bag containing suspected meth in her purse.

The warrant lists the incident date as December 15, 2018.
