Report: Man poured gasoline inside of home

A 56-year old Rome man has been arrested in connection with an incident in Cave Spring earlier this week.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Tony Curtis Langston of a Decatur Street address entered a residence on McGee Bend Road, in violation of a Temporary Protective Order, and poured gasoline in the living room area with the intent to commit arson.

Langston reportedly acted in a violent manner toward the female victim, causing her to flee the house in fear.

SWAT was dispatched, but Langston had already left the residence.

He is charged with 1st-degree arson, 1st-degree burglary, and aggravated stalking.
