Report: Woman had meth while at the jail

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 35-year old Lindale woman is facing charges after allegedly having drugs at the jail.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Deidra Amanda Tidwell of a Walnut Avenue address concealed two baggies of methamphetamine while entering the jail.

She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, and crossing the guard line at the jail with drugs.

Tidwell is also charged with a felony count of failure to appear.
 

 

Woman arrested on drug charges

A 34-year old Rome woman is facing drug charges following her arrest Thursday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Ashley Rebecca Dupree of a Kingston Highway address had a pill bottle labeled “Clonidine” which had several other pills including suspected Xanax and Adderall.

She is charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drugs not in the original container.
  

 

Man charged with meth possession

A Silver Creek man was jailed Thursday on methamphetamine possession charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 38-year old Jerry Kines of a Wax Road address had a small baggie of suspected meth and a glass pipe with residue on it.

The items were found in Kines’ left front pocket.

He was also charged with possession of drug-related objects.
 

 

Man accused of stealing jewelry

A 57-year old Lindale man was arrested Thursday on a felony shoplifting charge.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Hugh Don Smith of an Avenue E address took five rings and two watched from Golden Locks on North 5th Avenue without paying.

The rings were valued at $750 and the watches were valued at a total of $150.
