MIRANDA LAMBERT ADMITS SHE MAY NOT BE THE 'PERFECT' ROLE MODEL

Jun 30, 2014 -- 5:30pm

Miranda Lambert appreciates that young women and girls look up to her, but she admits she's not the ideal role model. She told HuffPost Live: ["I just am who I am and whatever you think a role model is . . . You know, i've had moms come up to me and say, 'Thanks for being a poitive role model for my young girl,' and I think I may be the role model because I just always am positive about body image -- just be who you are. It doesn't matter what size or what. It's all about who you are on the inside and what you stand for and believing in what you believe in and speaking it out. But yeah, I have tattoos and I cuss and I drink and I have cussing in my songs and I'm just a country girl, you know, so I'm not a perfect model citizen but I try to be a good person."]

Miranda goes to the dark side with her duet partner, Carrie Underwood, in the video for their hit single, "Somethin' Bad," which was recently released.
