DARIUS RUCKER released the video to his song "Homegrown Honey". It's the first single from his next album, which is supposed to come early next year. (That shouldn't be confused with his Christmas album, "Home for the Holidays", which will be out October 27th.)
The video for Keith Urban's latest single, "Somewhere In My Car," has been released and it's quite a sexy clip. Keith told People, "The story is what I would call steamy melancholia. For me, the video had to be centered around the present and the past, but really focus on the intoxicating reliving of 'those nights.'"
The video features some heavy backseat makeout sessions, but don't get too excited -- they transpire between models Jehane Paris and Rodrigo Calazans in the clip, not Keith himself.
Keith says there's just something about kissing in a car, saying, "It's spontaneous, raw, intense, and even the sense of being suddenly interrupted by someone adds to the adrenaline rush." He joked, "Who needs a cigarette?"
"Somewhere In My Car" is a Top 20 hit and climbing on the country charts.
Loretta Lynn officially became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1962. Since then, she has become a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, to name a few.
As an artist and songwriter, Loretta has won nearly every award possible. She recently said that professionally speaking, she can't think of one thing that she still has yet to accomplish.
Earlier this month, Loretta was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Americana Music Association’s Honors & Awards Show.
The video for Blake Shelton's latest single, "Neon Light," has been released. The clip features live performance footage from Blake's show, as well as his excited fans both before and during the concert.
"Neon Light" is the debut single from Blake's new album, Bringing Back The Sunshine, which will be released on September 30th.
Blake told theboot.com, “My last couple of albums have been so positive, because when I made them I was just getting married. It’s been in this awesome place, but after a while, as a country singer, I gotta get back to singing about getting drunk because there’s people out there — and I’ve been one of them — that have had their heart broken, or they’ve had a tough day at work, or they get stabbed in the back.”
Blake returns as coach for season seven on NBC's The Voice, which premieres on September 22nd.
